Modeling and Simulation of Buoy Heave Response Under Electric Generator Load Using Simulink

Abstract According to the different links of energy transmission, oscillating buoy wave converter is divided into mechanical mode and hydraulic mode. For with it’s requisite consider influence electric generator transmission ratio on heave response in its design process. Consequently, Simulink toolbox used establish simulation model under load, buoys diameters analysed. The results show that as diameter increases linearly, displacement, velocity generating power curve amplitude do not increase linearly which shows increment becomes smaller. Therefore, have load capacity.
